The Sholar Center Experience
Welcome to a very special practice in plastic surgery. You will first experience Dr. Sholar's warmth and expertise as you enter the office. From the warm and comfortable décor, to the friendliness of the office staff, you will find this is much more than the typical medical office.
During your surgical consultation you can expect to first meet Dr. Sholar’s nurse who will escort you to your private consultation studio. Dr. Sholar will then meet with you to discuss your concerns. She will outline for you the plan of treatment, even using her drawing skills to help you understand the procedure. The advantages, disadvantages and alternatives of each approach will be reviewed with you and you will have every opportunity to have your questions answered to your satisfaction. This initial visit is an information and planning session, which will allow you to decide if plastic surgery is right for you. Dr. Sholar will go over what to expect after the surgery and plan your follow up care. We want you to feel comfortable and confident in your choice to proceed with surgery, or any other procedure we offer.
Next, you will meet with the patient coordinator who will guide you through the financial consultation and scheduling process. At your initial consultation you will be given a written estimate of any applicable fees, and the opportunity to schedule your surgery, if you wish. Financing information is also available.

Facelift After Injury

I had scheduled a face lift for Nov. 09..in Sept I had a bicycle wreck and landed mainly on my face..needless to say the surgery had to be cancelled. Immediately upon leaving the hospital I went to Dr. Sholar's office. I was treated immediately. I cannot express how much kindness was shown to me, not only from Dr. Sholar, but from everyone in her office.
I had the face lift in Jan. and have been very pleased with the results. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to everyone..Thank you Dr. Sholar and staff. I could make this testimonial longer...it doesn't begin to cover everything...

I could not have gotten better care anywhere and everyone in the entire practice is wonderful. You all became family. Dr Sholar and Marc always took time to answer any questions that I had. Everyone was always willing to go that extra mile to make sure that I had everything that I needed, be it information, massage to relieve swelling, extra time spent with me on a rough day, or just a hug.
